Yeah, we had our first Focus Group meeting yesterday. Sherri and I (aka me, Penny, Genius blogster) were out in Mt. Pleasant yesterday. We would like to give a shout out to everyone who came out the Mt.Pleasant Focus Group yesterday. It was a great group, with a very relaxed atmosphere at the golf resort; they made us feel very welcome and very comfortable. We hope we did the same for them.
We were very excited to hear that about half the offices had received their June payments from Medicare, so hang in there, things are moving. What we did spend some time talking about was how they were handling take backs and additions, as usual there was more than one office and more than one way to do things. All I can say is, "that is why I LOVE Focus Groups!" I love that we get to share some stuff with you and you get to share with each other and us. It is a great way to learn and swap new tricks and to make new friends that understand your office and billing pain.
Sherri is always amazing and completely versatile as she demonstrated some of the things you may not have been aware of, or forgotten in both eTHOMAS and dTHOMAS. I had the chance to talk about some of the most commonly asked questions and concerns about EHRs and 5010/ICD-10. Focus Groups are here for interactivity, we enjoyed hearing all of the comments you made, took note of your concerns, and you will help us to improve and serve you better. Again, I just have to say how much we enjoyed the Focus Group and what a great opportunity they are for us to show you how much you, our clients, mean to us and how much we really do care.
