Dear Doctor(s) and staff:
Genius Solutions is proud to announce that ehrTHOMAS has been approved as a 2014 edition certified EHR! The software update to comply with the 2014 edition criteria is included with the cost of your provider license fee.
In order to get each office well-prepared to complete the transition from 2011 edition to 2014 edition criteria, we will be providing free webinars to all of our clients over the course of the next few months. A schedule for those webinars is enclosed – there is no limit to the number of webinars you can register for, but you must register. In addition to these webinars, we will be providing downloadable links of documentation on how to meet meaningful using the ehrTHOMAS system. Should your office find that they need personal training, we are offering a five hour block of training for $500 + travel costs (if applicable) – please contact our office for details.
Additionally, the 2014 edition of ehrTHOMAS is certified with DrFirst Rcopia as our e-prescribing vendor. There were many reasons for electing to move, and we are confident that you will find DrFirst a much-improved method of e-prescribing. This is a mandatory migration for the 2014 edition. There is a variety of documentation and training that will assist you with this transition, which will be provided upon receipt of completed registration paperwork (enclosed). Please complete the attached DrFirst paperwork and return it via fax at 586-751-9230.
Please also note that for the 2014 reporting year only, providers are only required to report data for a calendar quarter, regardless of stage. Providers going through their first attestation will need to report for the July 1 – September 30 quarter, while providers going through a subsequent attestation may report the July 1 – September 30 or October 1 – December 31 quarter.
We understand that keeping up with the ongoing changes in the world of health information technology can be difficult at times. If you have questions, please feel free to contact our support department at 586-751-9080 option 7. Any of our technicians would be happy to help you.
