Special Notice-Please Update your eTHOMAS system

1. Additional changes have been made relating to Medicare insurance payment posting functions that affect both manual posting and autoposting. Some customers have noticed that small insurance balances were left on claims after payments have been posted. The additional changes we have implemented will properly write off those balances and handle newer Adjustment Codes we are receiving from Medicare at this time. Customers will notice that after the update has been completed, these balances are adjusted off by either an insurance credit (with the System Setting called inspostwithholdperline) or as a PARADJ without the setting.
   
2. This update also includes enhancements that make the sending and receiving of information to and from Genius Solutions, Inc. and our Customers run even better.Previously, some Customers may have received errors when syncing information with Genius Solutions, Inc., or are not receiving our broadcast messages properly. When changes are necessary for your computer to complete those functions you will receive the following message:
   
   
   

When you see this message, you should choose Yes. This will allow you to sync contacts, add and expire providers, and receive broadcast messages without errors or interruptions.
