eTHOMAS Focus Group Jan 19 & 20th a Fun Success!

Hey, thanks to everyone who came out to the Focus Group meetings this week.  It was a lot of fun to meet you and put some friendly, happy faces with the names and voices we've come to know.  We appreciate all of the comments that were shared with us and each other.  We had a great time at the meeting with you.  Now, we are all geared up and looking forward to the Grand Rapids meeting in a week and a half (on 2/2).

Kathleen, our CMOM, passed along some of her wisdom in how to have a financial policy for your office and how it can make your office life easier and smoother, return more of your money to you, and help you to increase patient satisfaction at the same time.

Sherri, CPC and trainer extraordinaire, took everyone though streamlining your billing by effectively tracking your claims with EDI client and the reports you receive from EDI and your payers.  Sherri also took everyone through some of the quickest, best Tips & Tricks to make your eTHOMAS life even nicer.

Just when you thought things couldn't get any better, Kathleen and Sherri took over and went through a quick preview of eTHOMAS v9.1 "coming to an eTHOMAS computer near you soon".  Heck, if I didn't already have eTHOMAS on my computer I would have asked for it.  There are some fantastic new timesavers, work helpers, and new bells and whistles in there.  Remember, if you haven't upgraded to eTHOMAS v9 yet.... we strongly recommend that you do so.  You can't get to v9.1 without getting v9 first! (And the upgrades are free with your Genius Softcare!)

Penny (that's me, your Genius News Geek and Editor Girl) got to speak with you about Tech Support Q & A.  I was pleased to hear your responses and that you were backing up regularly, using anti-virus, and concerned about the safety and security of your office and patient records.  Keep up the good work, and take it to the next level.  I also got to speak with you about new computers, our new news blog, and upcoming goodies like the new medical web site and the new podiatric touch screen EMR. (Yeah, I got the fun job!)

For finishers, we had Sandy, also a CPC, and our speaker on the dreaded and all important subject of why you need to self-audit at your office to survive and thrive in the all-states RAC (Recovery Audit Contractors) expansion (as of this month).

If you missed it this week and can be in the area, we are having a final day of eTHOMAS Focus Group in Grand Rapids on 2/2, REGISTER NOW, and we'll see you in just over a week!
